Welcome to the Muddy Waters Retriever Club. We are a retriever training club located in Central Wisconsin. Our purpose is to help each other to train our gundogs for hunting, hunt tests and field trails. The club is a charter member of the Hunting Retriever club (HRC) and United Kennel Club (UKC)

We get together to train weekly during the spring and summer at the Mead Dog training area and some local private property.

Our membership consists of over 40 members from all over Wisconsin. Some are more active in the club than others. The club is what you make of it. If you come and train often, your dog will be a better gundog for the coming hunting season.

We hold one HRC hunt test per year at the Mead Dog training grounds. We do this to offer our members an opportunity locally to run their dog in a hunt test, and also as a fund raiser for the club to purchase equipment and maintain our training grounds.

We also have a sister club called the Central Wisconsin Muddy Waters Retriever Club. This club holds one AKC field trail per year. Their purpose is primarily to hold field trials and not get together to train. We work closely with our sister club and assist each other as necessary with purchasing equipment, maintaining the grounds and help for events.
