Headed out to Land O Lakes HRC Test in a little while. Not sure if anyone else from the club is going. If so, I'll see ya there. Cool

Got a second pass for Storm in Started on Sat. Windy most of the day...not too terrible once it warmed up a bit....lots of ticks!!!! Shocked

Ran Seasoned on Sunday...Verrrrry windy 20mph constant in the AM and cold. Land went real well for us. Marks, diversion, blind and walk-out were all real nice.

Wind picked up for the water series to about 30 with gusts up to I'd guess around 40...whitecaps on the pond we were on...and that's when we blew up. Had to handle on the memory mark with the wind in our face....and he wasn't taking my casts...finally got him there. Water blind was just as bad....blew the whistle so hard no noise came out! Grin Got him there but he only took one of my whistles. the rest he pretty much blew me off and was more interested in the wind and whitecaps....a good learning experience. Now I know where we have holes in our training....wasn't a big mystery though as we have had very little water work this spring....and training in high wind is of course out of my control.

on to the MWRC hunt test Cool
Rick picked up another finished pass on Saturday with Kix but could only run one day.
Saw Kurt Halgren on Sunday running Started with Darton. He joined LOL since he's now so close. Sounded like he got a pass!

Numbers were pretty low at LOL. there were 25 started dogs (typical for them) 5 seasoned dogs and 20 finished on Sat.

Sunday Started was at about 20, Seasoned was at 8 and finished had 16.
They only had a 50/50 raffle, BBQ sandwich with coleslaw and beans at the grounds...that was it for their banquet.
